Do not charge in rain, standing water, or direct high heat or sunlight.
For extended storage, keep the battery at a moderate state of charge and avoid leaving it fully charged or deeply discharged for long periods. Store the vehicle and battery in a dry, cool, well-ventilated location, and check the charge level periodically.

Waterproofing & Cleaning

Both the Surge X01 and Surge X01 Pro have an IPX5 water-resistance rating. This provides protection against dust and routine water jets or splashes, but it does not make the vehicle suitable for immersion, deep-water riding, or high-pressure washing.
Both models are rated IPX5 and can tolerate routine splashes and light rain. Riding in heavy rain, deep water, prolonged water exposure, or fast-moving water is not recommended. After wet use, inspect and dry the brakes, chain, electrical connectors, and battery area.
The IPX5 rating is not an immersion rating. Brief passage through a shallow puddle may be possible, but do not submerge the battery, motor, controller, or electrical connectors. Water depth and exposure time must be strictly limited.
Do not use a high-pressure washer directly on the battery, motor, controller, instrument cluster, switches, charging port, wiring connectors, bearings, or suspension seals. High-pressure water can penetrate electrical connectors or seals and cause water ingress, corrosion, or malfunction. Use low-pressure water and a damp cloth instead.

Warranty, Returns & After-Sales

The Surge X01 & Surge X01 Pro will be covered by a limited warranty. The warranty period, coverage, and exclusions are governed by the warranty policy, sales agreement, or official warranty documentation applicable in the purchase market.
The following may generally be excluded from warranty coverage: unauthorized modifications or repairs, non-original parts, collisions or accidents, water ingress or immersion, overloading, competition use, improper charging, user-caused damage, and normal wear of consumable parts. Refer to the official warranty policy for details.
Please contact the authorized dealer from which you purchased the vehicle or official customer service as your first point of contact. Provide the order details, vehicle serial number, a description of the issue, and supporting photos or videos to help the service team assess the problem efficiently.
We recommend purchasing through an officially recognized channel. Vehicles purchased through unauthorized channels, private resale, or unknown sources may not be eligible for full official warranty or after-sales support.
Return and exchange policies vary by market, sales channel, and local law. Review the applicable official policy or consult the dealer before purchase. Vehicles that have been ridden, modified, cosmetically damaged, or otherwise made unsuitable for resale may not be eligible for a direct return or exchange.

Parts, Maintenance & Care

Purchase original parts, including brake pads, tires, chains, sprockets, footpegs, body panels, batteries, and chargers, through the official online store, authorized dealers, or official after-sales channels.
Yes. Both models use a carbon-steel frame, chain drive, hydraulic disc brakes, front and rear suspension, and lithium battery systems. Regularly inspect the chain and sprockets, brakes, tires, bearings, suspension, frame fasteners, battery connectors, wiring, and controller cooling.
Before each ride, inspect tire pressure, brake feel, chain tension, handlebar and wheel security, battery lock engagement, throttle return, brake-cutoff function, and other safety-protection functions.
Yes. Keep the chain properly tensioned and lubricated. After off-road riding, clean away dirt and apply chain lubricant. An excessively loose chain may derail, while an overly tight chain can accelerate wear or restrict suspension movement.
Both models use front and rear hydraulic disc brakes. Inspect pad thickness, disc wear, hoses, braking feel, and leakage regularly.
For the Surge X01, the front suspension has 140 mm travel, and the rear shock has 40 mm travel. For the Surge X01 Pro, the front suspension has 170 mm travel, and the rear shock has 50 mm travel. Inspect both ends regularly for leakage, looseness, abnormal noise, or irregular rebound.

Safety & Usage Limits

Wear a full-face or off-road helmet, goggles, gloves, riding boots, knee and elbow protection, chest protection, and long sleeves and trousers. High-speed riding, jumping, stunts, or off-road riding is not recommended without appropriate protective equipment.
Both models are intended for one rider only; carrying a passenger is not recommended. The specified maximum load is 240lbs for the Surge X01 and 260lbs for the Surge X01 Pro. Exceeding these limits can increase braking distance, reduce stability, and damage the vehicle.
Do not modify the battery, controller, motor, speed limiter, wiring, brakes, or frame structure without authorization. Unauthorized modifications may create safety risks and may affect warranty coverage.
This is not recommended. Replacing the electronic-control, battery, or motor system with non-approved components may cause overheating, short circuits, loss of control, abnormal range, or battery-safety risks. Any upgrade involving the vehicle's core electrical systems should be performed by the manufacturer or an authorized technician.
Minors must comply with local regulations, and a guardian must assess the rider's height, weight, strength, experience, and risk awareness. Use is recommended only in a closed area, in a low-speed mode, and under adult supervision.
The Surge X01 and Surge X01 Pro may be used for light off-road riding and skill practice, but aggressive jumps, wheelies, crashes, collisions, and competition use increase vehicle wear and safety risks. Practice progressively in a controlled area and wear complete protective equipment.
